Description

An 11 and a half mile narrow gage steam railway affording superb views of the Rheidol Valley on it’s 600 ft climb from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge which is within walking distance of the famous Mynach Falls, Jacob’s Ladder and Devil’s Punchbowl.

Travel by Bus

The nearest bus stop is 100m and served by Arriva Cymru services 2, 94A and 514 between Dolgellau, Machynlleth and Aberystwyth. Services run at two hourly frequencies weekdays, there are no suitable services on Sundays.

Travel By Train
The nearest railway station is Aberystwyth on the Cambrian Main Line. Services from Birmingham and Shrewsbury run at two hourly frequencies on weekdays. The Steam Railway is adjacent to the mainline station.
