Description

The Welsh Highland Railway (Porthmadog) is a small friendly railway where the train ride is only part of the experience. The vintage train also stops at the sheds where you can climb on the steam and diesel engines and see how things work.

Travel by Bus

Porthmadog is served by a network of bus services from all main towns in Snowdonia. Please check with Traveline for details. The bus stop for the station is 50 yards away at ‘Cambrian Terrace’

Travel By Train

The nearest railway station is Porthmadog. The Welsh Highland Railway is at the very end of High Street opposite the main line railway station
