Description

A delightful reminder of a traditional Great Western branch line and running along part of the old line between Carmarthen and Lampeter. The preserved route terminates at the riverside station at Llwyfan Cerrig.

Travel by Bus

First Cymru services 460/461 between Carmarthen and Cardigan provide approximately five weekday journeys and two on Sundays. The nearest stop is approximately 200m from the station.

Travel By Train

The nearest railway station is Carmarthen, which is served by trains from Swansea. Services run at hourly frequencies on weekdays. The Gwili Steam Railway is a short bus journey from Carmarthen bus station.
