Description
One of Wales most famous and best loved narrow gauge railways running across 13 miles of Snowdonia. It also provides an important strategic link between the mainline railways of the Cambrian Coast at Minffordd and Conwy Valley at Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Travel by Bus
The nearest bus stop is approximately one km form Porthmadog station and both Porthmadog and Blaenau Ffestiniog are served by Express Motors services 1 & 2 which provide hourly weekday services and a reduced frequency on Sundays.
Travel By Train
Porthmadog railway station is one km from the attraction and served by trains on the Cambrian Coast Line between Machynlleth and Pwllheli. Services run at approximately two hourly frequencies on weekdays.
Blaenau Ffestiniog railway station is the terminus for the Conwy Valley Line from Llandudno Junction. There are five services on weekdays.
