Description

A self guided tour including a historical letter cutting and calligraphy exhibition. See craftsmen at work cutting, polishing and engraving slate.

Travel by Bus

Nearest bus stop is approximately 85m distant and served by Express Motors service 1 which runs hourly on weekdays but there is no Sunday service.

Travel By Train

The nearest railway station is Porthmadog and is served by trains on the Cambrian Coast Line between Machynlleth and Pwllheli. Services run at approximately two hourly frequencies weekdays. The Slateworks are an 18km bus journey from Porthmadog.
