Description

Situated in an elegant 19th century house with a fascinating history in its own right as a home, school and hospital. The museum’s displays focus on the history and development of the ancient town and its people.

Travel by Bus

The nearest bus stop is 100m distant and served by Stagecoach in South Wales service 73 which runs every hour between Newport and Gloucester. There are no Sunday services.

Travel By Train

The nearest railway station is Chepstow on the Cardiff to Birmingham line. Services run at two hourly frequencies on weekdays. The Museum is approximately a one km walk from the railway station.
