Description

With doubt Raglan is the finest late medieval fortress-palace in Britain. This moated stronghold features a unique double drawbridge.

Travel by Bus

The nearest stop is 300m distant and is served by Stagecoach in South Wales service 60 between Newport and Monmouth and running at two hourly intervals. There is no Sunday service.

Travel By Train

The nearest railway station is Newport, which is served by regular weekday trains from most major UK cities. The Castle is a 30km bus journey from Newport.
