Description
An extravagant neo- Norman castle built in the early 19th Century by the Pennant slate family. It features a grand staircase, stone carvings and Norman furniture, panelling and plasterwork all in a cathedral like atmosphere.

The nearest bus stop is adjacent to the entrance (itself 1km from the castle) and served by Arriva Cymru service 5 running between Llandudno and Caernarfon. The service runs at 30 minute frequency on weekdays and hourly on Sundays.
Travel By Train
The nearest railway station is Bangor, which is served by trains between Holyhead and Crewe. Services run at hourly frequencies on weekdays. The Castle is a three km bus journey from Bangor.
