Description

This world-renowned centre demonstrates practical and sustainable solutions to modern problems. Ride the water powered cliff railway up into Europe’s leading eco-centre where dynamic displays of wind and solar power complement beautiful organic gardens.

Travel by Bus

The nearest bus stop is adjacent to the entrance to the centre. Arriva Cymru services 30, X32 and 34 all pass the entrance and run from Machynlleth. Between the three services there are quite a few departures during the day but there are no Sunday services.

Travel By Train

The nearest railway station is Machynlleth on the Cambrian Main Line between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth. Services run at two hourly frequencies on weekdays. The CAT is a six km journey by bus from Machynlleth.
